Can you give me an update on the state of the Syrian Latakia supply ?? I am a fan of the style (and of your website) and I was wondering what the latest news might be regarding the amount still remaining in various blender warehouses..

P.S. I am in the USA and I smoke Wilderness, Samovar and Three Oaks Syrian by McClelland. I also just bought a tin of the MacBaren vintage Syrian, but have not opened it yet. I also have a few other tins of various Syrian Latakia mixtures, but do not like them as much as the above three.

Question: Is there any Syrian (as far as you know) in Black House by H&H or in Balkan Blue by McClelland’s ?? I am only asking as the tobacco in both is described as containing “Mountain Blue Latakai”….which has always sounded like it SHOULD be Syrian….not Cyprian. Are there even any mountain IN Cypress ??
