It is a pleasure to discover your blog and I am looking forward to reading your past and present articles and observations. I live in Altona Manitoba where there are so few (if any) other pipe smokers that there are no stores that sell pipe tobacco anymore. So I buy my tobacco online and have the blends shipped from the U.S.A. which is always a gamble since any shipment may be struck with Canadian Federal Excise taxes plus the really heavy Provincial Manitoba tobacco taxes. Most of the time, my shipments come through without being discovered but I often feel like the old-time Prohibition smugglers but in reverse.
