Hello!

I must say that I enjoy reading your tobacco blog and it is a real asset for the community!

I have come across a number of sealed tins from the 1950s. Among them, a sealed in of Cope’s Escudo Navy de Luxe from 1952-1956, a John Cotton’s No 1&2 from 1953, a Gallager Pure Latakia from 1952, an Ogden’s St Bruno Flake from 1955 and am looking to sell them to help pay my Law School tuition. Due to their age and rarity, I am having a hard time putting a Fair Price on ithem and cannot find when any like these have been sold. I have been collecting and trading/selling tins for quite a while and am pretty knowledgeable concerning 1970s and onward. But these “ancient” tins are another thing.

I know a couple of dealers who are interested but they want me to “name my price” before they say make an offer.

Do you know its fair market price or have a suggestion as to what it might be? Can you help me with this or, perhaps, point me in the right direction?

Thank you!!
Brendhain
